This vintage 48-page perfect-bound book was released by TSR in 1980 for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition. Authored by Brian Blume with Dave Cook and Jean Wells. It can be adapted easily for AD&D 2nd edition and used in any game world.

This is one of my favorite accessories! I use it all the time. Lots of ready-to-use foes for your 1st Edition (or 2nd Edition) AD&D game. There are sections with adventuring parties, bandits, and pirate bands to challenge your players! It also has stats on some of the characters created and run by the luminaries of the early game worlds, such as Bigby, Mordenkainen, Phoebus, Tenser, Robilar, and others. Whenever I open the book, I get lost reading about the early characters. Fun stuff!

Condition

This copy is in Good condition showing moderate wear. The cover shows heavily rounded corners, scuffing, edge wear, and creasing along the fold. There are a number of discolored spots. The interior shows moderate wear, extremely rusty staples that have stained some pages, and a few discolorations here and there. Many of the corners have been folded but it is sturdy and ready to be used for many years.
