T1-4 The Temple of Elemental Evil TSR9147, Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition Vintage TSR Super Module by Gary Gygax, World of Greyhawk, Incomplete/Fair/Good
This listing is for a vintage copy of the Greyhawk Super Module The Temple of Elemental Evil T1-4. This massive 128-page super-module was authored by Gary Gygax with assistance from Frank Mentzer. It was published by TSR in 1985. Gary was one of the two creators, along with Dave Arneson, of the Dungeons and Dragons game system. If Gary authored the adventure, you could be assured of a true challenge. Perhaps a TPK or two along the way. This adventure was used as the background area for one of my earliest and longest-running Greyhawk campaigns. The Village of Hommlet is a great place for adventurers to start off their careers.
From the back of the adventure:
"...the Ultimate Campaign Adventure..." A sinister force, long thought destroyed, stirs from the black hole that spawned it. Like an ebony darkness, it prowls the land and safety is but an illusion, for it watches from every shadow and ponders possibilities. What began years ago with the introduction of the players to the quiet village of Hommlet and the amazing lands of Greyhawk, at last, is complete. Here is the long-awaited campaign adventure featuring the ruins of the Temple of Elemental Evil! Evil broods and grows beneath those blasted stones. This is your chance to drive it back and scatter its forces again. This product includes the village of Hommlet, the filthy shire of Nulb, and reveals the ruins of the Temple of Elemental Evil and the labyrinths that lie beneath, a warren of darkness. And beyond these ruins, even more, is revealed.
For the first time this product provides a complete campaign adventure which will take beginning characters from 1st all the way to 8th level and possibly beyond! Hours of adventuring await you!
The adventure is in Fair to Good condition. Please note it is missing the map book. The cover is in Fair condition. It shows heavy wear; creasing along the fold, corner, and edge wear, heavy scuffing, and a few surface tears. It is still sturdy. Well worn but intact.
The adventure book is in Good condition. The corners and edges are worn, some of the pages are creased and there are a few small discolored spots. It is clean of any writing and overall the pages are white and clean. Many of the page corners are folded. Please see the photos. Please note it is missing the 16-page map book. Do not fear! I copied the maps from my map book to include with the module. Overall, with the copies, the book is complete, sturdy, and ready for another go.
Use this at bottom.
Please look at the images and contact me if you have any questions.
Most of my packing supplies are reused, so don't be too surprised if you have a combination of paper, airbags, and whatever else I have laying around.
I would be happy to wrap your gift purchase at no charge and write a personal note on the packing slip. Just add a note to the shopping cart at check-out.
If you are a Greyhawk aficionado like myself, here is a link to a great online map of the Flanaess by Anna B. Meyer. I can get lost in this map for hours!
