Wow. This book brings back lots of great memories. This excellent 128-page book was authored by Gary Gygax and ushered in the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 1st Edition era. Although, for some reason, the Monster Manual was published first.

This is the first print to have the Jeff Easly wizard artwork on the cover.

Condition

This book is in Good to Very Good condition. The cover shows heavy wear including rounded and bumped corners, edge-wear, scratches, and scuffing on the back. The original owner's name appears in pencil inside the front and the flyleaf has a scuffed spot.  The back has some discoloration and residue inside and on the flyleaf. The inside has some stray pencil, one page looks like it was closed on a bit of pencil lead, see the 6th image. One corner has been folded, and there are some small notches on the page edges on about 15 pages and the last two pages have a 1" tear near the edge. The binding is tight and it is mostly very clean and nice.
