This excellent 28-page adventure by David Cook was designed for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st edition. It is set in Hepmonaland in the World of Greyhawk setting. It can easily be placed into any game world. This is one of my all-time favorite adventures. We spent a long time adventuring in this setting. A lost ruined city in the middle of a hostile jungle with various factions and monsters. Fun stuff!

Description

From the back Somewhere in the heart of the steaming jungle lies the answer to the whispered tales - rumors of a magnificent city and foul, horrid rituals! Here a brave party might find riches and wonders - or death! Is your party brave enough to face the terrors of the unknown and find - the Forbidden City!

Parts of this module were used in 1980 for a major East Coast convention tournament. Information is presented here to reconstruct this exciting tournament and even more has been given to expand play. Here, characters may adventure several times in a unique and interesting mini-campaign. Included in this module are background and tournament notes, referee's keys, new monsters, pre-generated characters, and eight different maps.

Condition

The module is in Good to Very Good condition. The cover is in Good condition showing heavy scuffing all over, moderate corner rounding, creasing along the fold, and edge wear. There is a rust stain in the fold from the book's rusty staples. It is sturdy and the maps are in great shape! The adventure book is in Very Good condition showing light wear. The staples are very rusty, the edges are a bit grey,  and the corners are a little rounded. Pages 15-16 are just starting to come loose from the staples but are still attached. It is clean of any writing and the pages are white! This adventure is in good condition, is complete, and is more than ready to challenge a few more heroes.
