A4 In the Dungeons of the Slave Lords TSR9042, Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition Module by Lawrence Schick Vintage World of Greyhawk, Good/Good
This vintage 28-page adventure module was authored by Lawrence Schick and published by TSR in 1981. Module A4 concludes the Slave Lords saga chronicled in modules A1, A2, and A3. These adventures detail the reign of terror caused by the Slave Lords' yellow-sailed ships across the coasts of the Flanaess and the trials the heroes must face ending their domination.
This series of adventures began in A1 Slave Pits of the Undercity, continued in Modules A2 Secret of the Slavers Stockade and A3 Assault of the Aerie of the Slave Lords, and concludes in this module A4 In the Dungeons of the Slave Lords. These great adventures were later collected in a super-module, A1-4 Scourge of the Slave Lords. Ah, so much Greyhawk fun. Set on Oerth, the World of Greyhawk, this excellent adventure will challenge characters of levels 4 to 7.
From the cover of the adventure:
Trapped in the dungeons of the Slave Lords! The hardy adventurers must find a way out, with only their wits and courage to help them. But can they do it before everything is destroyed by the dreaded Earth Dragon?
This module was originally used for the final round of the official ADVANCED DUNGEONS & DRAGONS Open Tournament at the GEN CON XIII Game Convention and is the culmination of a series of four related tournament modules from TSR.
This module contains a challenging scenario for experienced players, the tournament scoring system, and nine fully-equipped, playtested tournament characters. Also included are large-scale referee's maps, playing aids, notes, and background information. A4 is a complete adventure in itself, but can also be used in conjunction with A1 (SLAVE PITS OF THE UNDERCITY), A2 (SECRET OF THE SLAVERS' STOCKADE), and A3 (ASSAULT ON THE AERIE OF THE SLAVE LORDS). Be sure to look for other exciting adventure modules from the Game Wizards at TSR.
This adventure is in Good condition. The cover shows heavy corner rounding, scuffing along the fold, which is a bit frayed, and heavy corner rounding. There are discolorations along the edges of the map and the fold has separated about 1/2" at the top and bottom. The maps are in great shape! The adventure booklet has very rusty staples, heavy corner rounding, edge wear, a number of discolored spots, many page corners are folded, and a few pages show indentations from writing. Overall, it has seen a lot of use but is, sturdy, complete, and is ready to challenge another group or two of adventurers.
