You Have Not Reached Corporate America,

If you were dialing for Corporate America please hang up and dial again.

Greetings, you have reached DEI, Dungeon Explorers on the Internet and Purveyors of Really Neat Stuff! We are an internet only store that is physically located in the Rocky Mountain wilderness.

Who are we?  Well, we are Linda and Kevin Curtin.  Our staff is well... us. We are a married couple who are dedicated gamers.  Kevin started playing D&D back in the early days with the little white box with the three books.  Linda began playing shortly after that.

Kevin does the accounting, taxes and heavy lifting (as in “Husband, move that big box of magazines over there.”). Linda does most everything else, so as far as day to day activities DEI is a one woman show.

We couldn't imagine a better job than bringing you the finest gaming supplies and out of print Role Playing games, so here we are.  We have been in business since 1997 and are committed to the gaming industry.   We specialize in pre-3rd Edition D&D and AD&D.

Communicating with DEI:

We live on eighty acres of the most wonderful land in Colorado (of course we admit to being a bit biased), so occasionally we need to dig an irrigation ditch or return visiting livestock to their proper location and rebuild the fence so that they stay there.  These tasks just can't be left to our Guard Orks.  They're just so unreliable.  The last time they were entrusted to return the neighbor's cattle they ended up eating them all. The cattle.  Not the neighbors.   It was two weeks before we saw them again!

Generally it's best to e-mail us, since we don't have a toll free phone number. If you would like to speak to a genuine human being just send along your phone number and a good time to call (usually Monday-Friday between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm Mountain Time is best, but I can often make time for other days and times).

If you do call, the phone inevitably rings while we are out, so please leave a brief message (if it's too long our dimwitted answering machine will garble it), including your name and number and we will get back to you as soon as possible, usually within a few hours.

If you are writing to us about a wish list item it may take a little longer for us to get back to you.  We will always try to locate the item you are interested in before responding.

We try to game on Sundays and take Saturday off, so we usually don't answer e-mails or otherwise conduct business, but there will be exceptions.  The same applies to most holidays.

Our focus is to put out of print role playing items into the hands of gamers at a reasonable price.  While we usually have collectible items in stock, we pride ourselves on providing you with intact and legible used items at a price that won't break your budget.

We stand by all of our products and if you are the least bit disappointed please let us know and we will do our utmost to make it right.  We both spent many years in the Service Industry in Santa Fe, New Mexico during it's heyday, so we believe in "Service with a Smile"  If you have any special request or need please don't hesitate to ask!  We will do anything within reason to please you, and will only charge you any actual costs involved, never a "service charge".   We also offer free gift wrapping and enclosure cards for gifts, just check the little box at the bottom of the order form and put the message that you would like to include in the field for comments.

We will contact you within 72 hours of receiving your payment to let you know when your order will ship.  Please see our Shipping page for more information on shipping.

OK, so this isn't really us, but do you really care what we look like anyway?
